Faced with the growing concern about environmental impacts that corroborates the debate for the preservation of the environment in tourist attractions and destinations, the study aims to analyze the perception of environmental quality and services of tourist attractions in Itabira, Minas Gerais (Brazil), which is characterized as a destination in the historical/cultural tourism segment. For this, a survey-type quantitative research was carried out, with 383 questionnaires being applied to tourists who visited the tourist attractions of the locality. The dimensions tested were: ecotangibility, safety, tangibility, empathy, responsibility/responsiveness, reliability and general/return/indication. Data treatment was through descriptive analysis, exploratory factor analysis and correlation test, using the SPSS software (version 22.0) as a basis. The results indicate that visitors perceive that the environmental and service quality at the destination can be considered satisfactory, in addition to being one of the recommendation factors for friends, family and acquaintances. It is concluded that despite the positive result, these are aspects that must be analyzed continuously, since the perception of visitors involves several influencing factors, therefore, it can change quickly.
